Yes, those were great baseball names he came up with, he brought back happy memories! Ed Kranepool was my favorite Met, he was there in the Mets very first year, 1962, and stayed with them until he retired sometime around 1980 or so (that almost never happens today in any sports, staying on the same team for more than a few years, and he was a Met for almost 20 years). I picked him in '62 as my favorite Met since he was only 17 years old and playing on a team that had the oldest players in the history of baseball playing on it. As a preteen in '62 he was the only Met close to my age, little did I know that at the time, at 17 he was one of the youngest players to ever play pro baseball. I hear he isn't doing well these days health wise, he's in very bad shape and is in his last years of life.
I have never played fantasy football and don't even understand what it's all about! I don't think I want to know either, as the word "fantasy" is a total turnoff to me. I've always been a realist and I always hated fake things, period! But I'm not saying it's wrong to dream, as long as the dream is attainable - then do it! Just don't ever waste your time dreaming for something that can't ever happen, as it's a waste of time and engery.
