Thanks SW for your list!
The only one I don't think I ever heard is the 1st Wave channel station, but from what's listed for it (I just looked it up), it won't be for me if it plays new wave music and 1980s synthpop. That crap won't ever be my cup of tea.
They need a station that plays all classic rock music together and doesn't break up the genre in two in the way they do, and then throw in Motown and '60s soul music to that mix, too, along with top hits of the '60s and '70s. Why don't they have that mix like that all on one station and why do they break up classic rock in the way they do? Stupid programing, most people don't want that; it was the only real complaint I would hear from listeners when I worked their phone lines, and nothing has changed in the last few years since I retired from that line of work, other than the repeats on their stations seem to have increased.... Somebody please tell them that the Alice Cooper band recorded more than just 2 songs, and for that matter, Simon and Garfunkel recorded more than one song. The only S&G song Classic Vinyl ever plays is "Mrs Robinson"! I mean they play it twice a day and I've never heard another song by them played on that station! How can that be and why is it that way? Yes, they play 2 or 3 solo Paul Simon songs too, but that's it! S&G is as much classic vinyl as classic vinyl can be!
