Wow, so Rodney Dangerfield was the "I Don't Get No Respect" guy, while Youngman was the "Take my wife please" guy! Okay, now I can remember that (maybe), but damn, those 2 routines were similar, but one of them had the violin, too (Youngman). But when I think of it, the "I Don't Get No Respect" was a bit funnier, too.
The movie I think you're referring to is Natural Born Killers with Woody Harrelson and Juliette Lewis.
Yes, that was it, and I hated that movie. Totally overrated, and sick. Woody Harrelson and Rodney Dangerfield both should have just stuck to comedy, it's so much better for the soul than that trash movie that they made.
So Rodney Dangerfield was from NY? Don't matter, the Yankees baseball team are from NY and I always hated them. Overall I like most New Yorkers, but I can't live around them, nor the fast pace life that they all lead. NYC is still one of my most favorite places to visit - but only for one or two weeks tops, that enough for me. Had I stayed there, I don't think I would have made it past age 30, either. In fact I know I wouldn't have, that's why I fled the area as soon as I was old enough to. I hated living there as a child, as I can recall dreaming of living in the mountains as a boy. It's just the way I was wired, no question! As much as I loved my NY family, I hated the NY weather and the NY area where I was at. I just can't live on flat land or in a humid climate!
