I think Mick cares what everybody says, and has pretty much from the start. He cared about some of the stuff in "Life" and he cared about some of the things in the new Jann Wenner book too, (includcing actually OD-ing in the 70s once) which Wenner tried to get taken out (in order to protect Mick) but couldn't because the author had multiple sources on it "dead to rights" and stuck up for his own journalistic integrity. Mick cares, and is extremely careful about what he says around everyone because of what they may say later. Also, while those guys put each other down, Keith more than the rest for sure, he also builds them up too. I think he has a lot of love and respect for people, and especially Mick, regardless of the coarse shit that bursts forth out of his mouth on a regular basis!
