Those shows, as we talked about them over and over here, were nothing but total jokes as far as MT playing with them went. He didn't get to play but on 3 songs a show, and none were songs he recorded with them. I even noted that to Marlies, who just ignored that fact when she would write me back. They clearly didn't want him back and only allowed him to play with them since it was the band's 50th anniversary show and tour.
My correspondence with Marlies actually last about 3 months, on and off, involving several emails (maybe 6 or 7 emails written by each of us), and it was totally civil, but she would never back off what she first wrote me about, and in the end I finally wrote her a final email asking her to please leave me alone, since she clearly wasn't being reasonable in what she accused me of. I think she did get the message that I didn't have anything to do with what Keith noted in time (like Keith Richards repeats what I have to say of all people! LOL!), but she won't admit it. I don't know why she believed that nonsense in the first place, other than I guess she learned of who I knew inside the Stones and how important Gasland used to be at the time to the Stones community.
But Keith has, as far as I know, never read Gasland. I was told years ago, that Bill and Mick J did, and that MJ read this joint semi-regularly. I was told that by more than one insider who personally knew the band members. One of the insiders who I used to know, but who doesn't work for the band anymore today, was paid by the Stones camp to read the 3 main boards regularly, back in those days, and that's why I got to know him in the first place.
Back then, MJ read both this place and StonesDoug's place, too, but I have no clue if either he or Bill still does today. It was also clear to me that Marlies didn't start to read this joint until the time she started to write me, after some fool told her the lie that I started the talk about MT being sick. But from what I knew back then, Keith wasn't into using the internet at all in those days, and more than likely he knew nothing at all about any of the major Stones sites out there in the early to mid '00s. But there is just one thing I know 100% for sure about Keith, and it was that he didn't read about MT being sick from me, since I first read that from him, and not the other way around, as Marlies, for whatever reason, believed!
