RE: RE: RE: "Angie" and GHS

It's really funny about how that is with the GHS album and the song "Angie". With the Stones and their albums, up to GHS (other than maybe TSMR), they always got great reviews, but that wasn't the case with GHS at all. Yet as far as all of their songs went up to "Angie", most of them were unappreciated by the general public - until "Angie" came out - and then for that one, all the non Stones fans totally loved it, calling it their best song ever, while most hard-nosed Stones fans didn't like it a lot. But you would have thought the Stones had never released a ballad before "Angie" came out by the reaction it got from non Stones fans! Even "Satisfaction" - their first hit song that made them real big, wasn't loved as much and in the same way as "Angie" was as far as your average rock fan went. Yet most hard nosed Stones fans (not me) didn't love "Angie" when it came out - yet they loved GHS, while for the general public, it was the total opposite - GHS got dished while it's hit song was looked at as pure gold.
