I know this sounds harsh, but I really don't care about what ANY of the Stones say about their own work! Okay, let me re-phrase... I am curious about their opinions, but they are of no consequence to me and they do little if anything to shape my views or dictate what gets the most playing time for me.
I love all the eras of the Stones. They are all different with different qualities, vibes, and nuances. Its hard to pick one, but I really do feel that their best work was done with Mick Taylor. That's the stuff that moves me the most and that I play the most.
