I sure don't blame Ronnie for the no spark - or less spark Stones of today. Ron came on when they were past their peak, although up until the mid '80s they were still hot, just past their peak as a live band. They still, regardless what some Stones fans say today, put out great studio records, and I still look forward to that, but their live shows today, while still real good, aren't want they used to be in the '60s and '70s when they peaked. You can blame that on old age today, and those of us who saw Keith play live in the earlier days knows this first hand. Ronnie carried the show the last time I saw them in the mid '00s, while Keith was just a shell of himself. I was told Keith rebounded the last time they played the States live, but they didn't play anywhere near where I live, and I would have liked to see that firsthand.
