I rate them about equally. To give George his due, "Norwegian Wood" was heard first. That may or may not have influenced Brian in his subsequent use of the instrument. George's sitar "lick" opens the song and and alternates with John's vocal, while Brian's part doubles Mick's vocal. Different approaches but both very effective. I would say Brian's playing is more intense, while George sounds more laid back. Both songs are standouts by virtue oh having the exotic sitar sound, and neither would have been quite the same without it.
