SiriusXM in regard to the 1st Gregg Allman Report

I've had it with SiriusXM. Early tonight, whoever the female deejay was on the air for them on their Classic Vinyl stastion, well she blasted social media for reporting that Gregg was in hospice, since it turned out that he never was. Only one problem SiriusXM and Ms deejay... it was your stupid station that first reported it, at least to me and others anyway!! I had their very same Classic vinyl station on when I first heard this story from them last week! So I did a Google search after I heard them report this, and at that time there were reports all over the place on this - not only on social media, but on several news outlets, too. So I felt I should note it here at Gasx3, too, and I did. Then a few hours later when Gregg had to release a statement letting us all know that the reports were false, I noted that here, too, as soon as I found out. But I never heard SiriusXM take back what they reported on the air, never! Only tonight did I hear this stupid deejay of theirs talk about how terrible those on social media were to report this falsehood, when many of us first heard this news from the very station this woman was now blasting us on!

Gosh I wish I had something else to listen to over the radio besides the kings of repeated music, SiriusXM, but I don't. There's no other rock music stations over the air where I live. On FM I can pick up only 2 stations, the local NPR station, which is excellent for news... and every weekday at noon they play a great Blues show, too, but rarely do they ever play any Classic Rock music. The second station we get plays Country music only. Once I drive about 15 miles out into the valley below, I can pick up 4 different Classic Rock stations depending on the day, one is from northern New Mexico, one from Colorado Sps, then there are 2 that broadcast less than an hour's drive away from here, just to the north of us. One is really a '60s rock/pop only station, so not really Classic Rock (they call it "Hippy Radio"), the other one is pure Classic Rock.... But thanks to our 13,000 and 14,000 foot mountains being in the way, we can't pick up those nearby stations here in town at all. They might be only around 50 miles from here, but it's as if they are light years away, since we can't pick them up at all!
