You mean "began"! But yes, you are correct on that count! But there is still only one person left who was born in the 1800s, even if there's a few more left born in the 19th century.
I got a grandson born in 2000, and I remind him that he and those his exact age, are in a unusual place that can only happen once every 100 years, since they are the only ones born in the 20th century - who weren't ever alive at any time in the 1900s. Strange but true!
One day there will be no one from WW2. That could be a few decades, I guess.
Not really decades, if you're talking about vets who fought in the war. They had to be in their mid teens at the least, so their time is limited today for sure. Now babies born during WW2, yes, they will still be around for perhaps a few more decades until the last ones pass on.
