I've watched it a few more times and I think Pluto and DA are right...he's NOT playing any slide and he's also not putting anything into his pocket. Instead, he appears to be checking his pocket to make sure something is still there. It could be a slide, harp (or moothie in the across-the-pond vernacular), or a key. However, my edumacated guess would be......
