Can you think of one DA where there is good footage of Brian backing singing, and where his playing is also featured to the fore, maybe playing a bit of slide?
If you look at the Hank Junior video on you tube then you'll see that a video of this sort featuring different moments in time doesn't necessarily need colour, but if it was felt colour was needed, then a digital tint isn't a problem.
If there is the right footage available for the right song(or two, let's make it a video for a single, 'a' side, 'b' side), then you could have a timeline; 'a' side song starts off with the original members, then as the song progresses Brian drops out and Taylor features, Taylor in turn is replaced on the song by Ronnie. I figure the songs chosen would be Wyman era ones, so Bill can feature throughout.
What you need to figure is where, at what point, each person leaves and joins etc, and how you segue the 'a' side and 'b' side together in the story in such a way that it's not like a documentary, but a performance.
I think I had it in the wee small hours last Sunday morning, but it's like all these stoned ideas. If you don't write them down at the time well...................
