He's the only Beatle I ever saw live and it was my first concert ever! We had to settle for the matinee because my mother didn't want me out late at night. The tickets cost a whopping $8... a fortune for someone like myself at the time.

George is my second favourite Beatle, behind John. As mentioned in an earlier thread, I've been listening to "All Things Must Pass" earlier this week. There are some truly great songs on there but my two favourites are "Let It Roll" and "Run of the Mill". Among George's contributions to the Beatles, I have a weak spot for "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Taxman", "Love You To", and "Think for Yourself".
