I think for the most part history has treated Brian kindly, it's just the Glimmer Twins who haven't.
I think that history has followed in the Glimmers' footsteps. You know the old saying: history is written by the victors. It is very true in this case.
Brian was defeated and he died. If he was still alive but not in the band (like Mick Taylor), I bet we wouldn't be hearing all those nasty things about him coming from Keith. Or if we did, we'd also be getting the other side of the story.
Who knows Ronnie... maybe he even would have been invited to play "Popeye the Sailor Man" on the 50th anniversary tour! With Bill playing bass!
