There is nothing like having a few close friends who love your favorite band as much as you do, and to be able to go see that band with you! Other than my Gasser friends here, I have no such friends anymore. I had 2 childhood friends, Mark and Brian, and the 3 of us were crazy about the Stones in the mid '60s, back when everybody else loved the Beatles. We loved the Beatles a lot too, but the Stones were number 1 in our books! Sadly, those 2 guys died many years ago, and only a year apart from each other, at 25 and 26 years of age, and I haven't found any other close friends who also loved the Stones like I did. My late wife Sue loved the Stones almost as much as me, but they weren't her favorite band, as she was nuts about the Doors first, well, Jim Morrison anyway. When we went to the Rock Hall back in '00, she spent so much time at the Door's display while I did the same at the Stones display. Had my two late friends still been alive and there with me that day, we could have shared all that joy together. Being able to do that is special indeed, so you are very lucky JSJ, err, I mean Debbie!
