By the way, Keno asked about Hang on Sloopy and what's up it being the official Ohio state song. Rick Derringer was from Ohio, at least born here. But the town is like right on the border of Ohio and Indiana, like the town where The McCoys are supposedly from. The McCoys early gigs were often in Ohio and we supported them, for sure. Hang on Sloopy has been played by every marching band I've pretty much ever seen in this state at one time or another, and Ohio State's band has played it as long as I can remember. We all learn at an early age when to do the "O-H-I-O" part, believe me!
