I love Money For Nothing. One of the best songs of the 80's. I never noticed the similarity to JJF. I'll take another listen. I remember in the 80's Mick had to go to court over Just Another Night. There is a legal test to see if it is stealing from the song. It has to do with how many bars or consecutive notes are lifted from a song I think. I heard Gene Simmons discussing this on Howard Stern because the question came up with the similarity between Hard Luck Woman and Rod Stewart's You Wear It Well. Also I remember in the early 90's Vanilla Ice's song used the sample from Under Pressure, but he added an extra note I think. Huey Lewis also had something going on because of the similarity that the song Ghostbusters had to I Want A New Drug. Remember the last minute credit The Stones had to give to KD Lang for the similarity between Anybody Seen My Baby and Constant Craving? I don't think they weren't influenced by the song at all. I remember reading the story that the album was done and ready to go and Keith overheard one of his daughters singing Constant Craving and he reacted last minute and gave the credit to avoid any issues.
