This Kinks song just played on the radio and I haven't heard it in years. It's a good song, yes ... but.... it's music is a total ripoff of the the Stones JJF! In fact as soon as I thought that, Jackie came in the room and said the same thing to me that I was thinking! I mean, it doesn't sound something like JJF, it's the very same riff! We were talking here last week about JJF and also "So Devine" and it's riff being a ripoff off of PIB, and it is, but, it's still the Stones own 2 songs at least. In this case, it's another band, and I got to wonder why Alan Klein, who sued anybody at the drop of a dime if he felt that they stole from the '60s Stones music, didn't sue Ray Davies for stealing the JJF riff. But after hearing that song for the first time in so many years, I just got an ides for new, future VS poll!
