My good friend here in town, Willie, who is one year older than I, isn't a Stones fan, but he loves TSMR! This Stones LP, along with Flowers he loves, but that's it for the Stones. He totally dislikes BB, says it's too country for him and only likes some of their other songs. He finds Blues music boring and totally dislikes any of it. Yet this guy is a great musician who can play several different instruments, and he does know many different Stones songs that he plays on guitar that aren't on those 2 albums, so it isn't like he doesn't know the Stones. He's also a big fan of Brian, thinks Mick is cool, but he's not a fan of Keith, thinks he's overrated as a guitarist. But as noted, he loves TSMR and I've walked into his house when it's been on, when he had no clue I was dropping by. He's an old hippie who is into that old hippie music, and TSMR is hippie music. Yet for me, well this hippie likes the LP, but it's far from my favorite and I rarely play it.
