Another Meta question for my fellow gassers, which version of Heart of Stone and out Of Time came first? The one's that are more popluar or the Meta versions?

There is a great book by Martin Elliott called "Complete Recording Sessions 1962-2002". I'm sure it's out of print, but it can be found online. I think I got my copy from eBay.

I don't know how accurate the information given in the book is, but here we go for the two songs you're asking about:

Heart of Stone - Meta Version: recorded July-August 1964.

Heart of Stone - The RS Now version: recorded November, 1964.

So the Meta version came first for that one.

Out of Time - Aftermath version: recorded March, 1966.

Out if Time - Meta version: recorded April-May 1966.

So the Meta version came last in that case.
