Putting aside the fact that The Stones only play on about half of the tracks on Meta, and just focusing on the songs themselves, I still really like this album. I love Sleepy City. It gives me that late autumn/early winter feel. Much like Til The Next Goodbye on IORR. Jiving Sister Fanny is a great rocker that I wish they would play live. It's such a nice array of early 60's music to late 60's music. The sound is SO different from I'd Much Rather Be With The Boys or Try A Little Harder to JSF or I'm Going Down. I love Memo From Turner (both versions) although the slower more bluesy one is my favorite of the two. If I have one criticism it is Out Of Time. I still like this version, but the other version is much better, I guess the same could be said of Heart Of Stone, too, but it doesn't turn me off at all.
Another Meta question for my fellow gassers, which version of Heart of Stone and out Of Time came first? The one's that are more popluar or the Meta versions?
