I think MT may be making the same mistake a lot of fans are making. Because he was the lead guitarist, people simply assume that the person he replaced, namely Brian, was also the lead guitarist. Which, of course, he wasn't. We all know about the weaving, and we also know that Brian did play some lead. But if you look at the mags of the day, including the Monthlies, Brian was officially the rhythm guitarist and Keith was the lead.
