You'd likely not even know what happened until after the fact.

That's possible. But you would have been close enough to the stage to see Marty Balin being knocked out by an Angel (some angel!). And to see the very rough (even dangerous) handling of anyone trying to get on the stage. And the bikers using cue sticks to push the crowd back.

Being stuck in that crowd close to the action (and I'm not talking about the music) seems to me to be the stuff of nightmares.
