Just feel that they have no real keen insights? Do you agree?
Yes and no. In the past they were right almost 100% of the time on just about everything they reported. As far as this current tour news goes, they have been wrong more than right, as have everybody else. But they get their news from the people closest to the Stones, who have been either misleading them, or just don't know themselves. Heck, Ronnie flat out said a fall tour looked good - or that something was in the works for sure, so if Ron Wood doesn't know what is going on, you can't blame anybody else, either. So I believe when these insiders were saying a fall tour looked good, that was the news they got from the Stones deepest insiders, usual reliable sources in the past, but today that isn't the case.
I do not believe anybody has lied on any of this, but I do believe everybody is confused and it's because Keith himself did not know for sure a few months ago if he could pull off a tour or not. They were thinking tour back then and making some plans, that's a fact, But that was then and this is now, and reality, Keith today feels that he can't tour and is finally letting everybody know this. That is the bottom line, and nothing else matters.
