This may be only a poll posting board today, but as you all know by now, one of the biggest icons in Rock music's history, has passed away. Since I'm still not well and not thinking totally straight to write out a full post on his passing, I'll just note that for me, he was one of my favorite rockers, along with his former bandmate Neil Young, most of the Stones and Beatles, and a handful of other rockers.
One thing about David, he was a true longhair hippie to the end and one who spoke out his true feelings all of the time, which sometimes got him in trouble with the law and sometimes even with his former bandmates. But I see that at least Stills and Nash forgave him, guess Young never could, but so goes life - and death, and when you have a spat with somebody, especially in old age, perhaps you should forgive them, or when that person passes you are not gonna feel too good about not cleaning things up with that person.
RIP David Crosby, you were involved in the making of so many of the greatest songs in rock music while in the Byrds and CSNY. I and most music fans will miss you and never forget you or your music!
