Jermaine? Her brother in the J 5? He got in for being in that group, and that group was good enough as a whole - you can't compare that to just one person singing solo. She's getting in as a solo act, that isn't the same thing. I've seen Janet perform a few times. Yes, she's got some talent, but that's not the only reason why you should get into any Hall of Fame. She's only known because of her brothers and is no more talented than your average performer is.
Who will they let in next, Tiny Tim? He had limited talent too, but you just don't let in ever Tom, Dick or Harry - especially when there's so many '60s and '70s acts that were better than never got in!
