RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: mid october...nsc

Yes, Denver has really nice and cool people!

I only been to South Dakota once in my life, over 40 years ago. I visited the Badlands there and loved that one place. I always wanted to go back and explore the place some more, it was one of the coolest places I'd been to! But I don't recall any of the people there, as I saw few around there and most who I ran into weren't from that state anyway, but were tourists like myself. I only know that's it a red state and to the far right of things.

Colorado is a blue state and Denver a blue city. Only the Great Plains area of eastern Colorado is red in the state (with an exception or 2, like out by the western Utah border where mainly only Mormons live), but the rest of the state (excluding Colorado Sps) is solid blue - where as the plains are solid red.

It seems that the folks living on the Great Plains of Colorado don't like the rest of us to the west, yet they take our money from our taxes to fix their roads while bitching about us liberals and threatening to form a new state of their own, or becoming a part of Nebraska or Kansas. They do have everything in common with those 2 states and nothing at all in common with the rest of Colorado, so I say let them leave if that is what they want.

Then they also bitch that their schools are falling apart while everywhere else in Colorado there are brand new schools being built or are already built. That's true... but that's only because of the marijuana tax money that goes to our schools in the state - but - any county in the state that doesn't allow the sale of recreational marijuana in their county, doesn't get a piece of the pot pie. The only places in the state where marijuana isn't allowed to be sold is in those very same Great Plains counties, and if they aren't gonna allow the sale of weed there (it's still legal to use and grow there, since they can't stop that), then no, they shouldn't get a piece of the pot tax that generates the money for new schools in the first place, since they refuse to be a part of it or collect it where they live. They should join the rest of us in allowing this harmless drug to be sold and they too would have new schools. But if they don't collect the tax by their own choice, too bad then, they might get our tax money for their roads (they pay little out that way in road taxes), since they do collect a bit of the road tax money, but the marijuana tax they pay none of since they don't allow it to be sold out there. The only eastern part of Colorado that does get this tax money is the far south-eastern plains that borders New Mexico and is the only place on the plains where marijuana is allowed to be sold, since that's the only area out east that's not red and that one area does allow stores to sell weed.
