RE: RE: RE: listening lately,,,ssc

I've been all across the map, but that's pretty normal for me.

The Stones, Sinatra, some ambient techno, Beethoven, and I have recently been delving back into a great avant-garde Classical composer of the 20th century named Iannis Xenakis.

Sinatra has a new album out today. Well, actually its not new, its from 1957. But what they're doing is what we see with all major names in music: dress it up a bit with new fancy liner notes, add another track or two, maybe a studio demo, and then a couple of other bells and whistles and you have something to sell to a new (and maybe old) audience. In this case we have Sinatra Sings For Only The Lonely, which is one of his greatest albums. It was originally released in Mono but this new release is stereo. I guess they actually recorded it in stereo and mono at the same time and then released it in Mono originally. And yes, they have added a studio demo and an unreleased and unfinished track.
