To say the least, LOL!

Bruce and Baker flat out hated each other, but he wanted to play with Clapton and Eric knew that the 2 would be his 2 best choices for bass and drums, so he told them both - something along the lines that it had to be the 3 of them, playing together - or no band. Things never really got any better between the 2 once Cream got going but no question Clapton knew they would mesh together great - and they did, so the 2 kept the peace for the sake of the band - which of course didn't last too long anyway.
