Would you believe he was almost The Rolling Stones' drummer? Thank God that didn't happen. He said in an interview he used to terrorize Mick Jagger, when you're hooked on heroin you know no fear.

I know there're two sides to every story, but I find Ginger Baker, from all I've read and heard, is an unpleasant, unfriendly, disagreeable, rude, mean-spirited, bad-tempered, hostile, obnoxious, vindictive, cantankerous, abusive jerk with a big fat bug up his ass.

But he's a great drummer.
