Yeah, I never liked the Stones DS video, seemed real cheesy to say the least with the song titles put in there like they did. It's not doing well in the vote right now either and I'm not surprised, yet the fact that Shattered and a few others love it isn't a surprise either, as I recall how some fans still really dug it anyway when it came out. Yet the way us Stones fans usually rate their videos I'll never understand anyway! Just how did we only rate the "Till The Next Goodbye" vid a 7?! If that one only could get that kind of vote, this one should get a 2. But no, this DS vid isn't really that bad, but it isn't great either and I gave it only a 6 myself.
Now a question about the rock poll to all... I'm in the middle of putting a final list for next week's poll together for the best acid guitar played in a song and who played it. It's gonna be at least 3 parts at this rate, maybe 4, but.... I couldn't come up with almost no such riffs by David Gilmour, yet felt I had to list him for this week's poll (so I did) and for next week's question I decided to go with "Comfortably Numb". But where with guitarists like Neil Young, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page I could come up with a ton of such songs for them, I really can't think of any played by Gilmour other than that one song, and that one is really more psychedelic guitar than acid guitar. That's the thing with this guy, he plays a ton of psychedelic guitar, yes, but little acid guitar.... yet... he's in second place in the voting as of an hour ago for acid rock guitar playing?! How is that!?... or better yet, what am I missing here?... or is everybody getting the question being asked wrong? I almost didn't even list him in the poll this week since the dude - again, mainly plays only psychedelic guitar and not acid. But, I don't claim to be an expert on Floyd... what songs am I forgetting about with this dude - please tell me another song or 2 where he plays acid guitar on so I can list it in the next poll questions list, and somebody explain why he's getting so many votes in this weeks poll when he doesn't really ever play acid guitar? Why did you vote for him this week, Ronnie?
