I missed it! 😿 Forgot all about it actually. I'll definitely catch a repeat, as I so much wanted to see it.
David's father was a heck of an actor! My wife and I saw him appear on several westerns, as she's a huge fan of old westerns.
I too had a crush on Susan Dey! 😍
Before the Partridge Family started, DC played a dramatic role on an episode of Bonanza. He was quite convincing in that non-comedy part. He had talent for sure.
I was a huge fan of The Partridge Family. It bothered me greatly hearing about David's problems.
To supplement his Partridge Family income ($300 per week) he would perform concerts on weekends. Lots of ROCK, and they included Rolling Stones songs!
He obviously took singing lessons, as he can definitely sing. Seen him on a TV special performing with his real-life step-mom Shirley Jones. Believe me that guy can cut it!
David can certainly rock. Here he is performing Rock Me Baby, a Top-40 hit single from 1972.
