No, he isn't correct at all, as he never had it before! Just because you dislike it doesn't mean he won't, and just because Manny and I like it doesn't mean he will too, either. But you should never put a food you never had down until you at least try it (there's just one exception to this rule*). Once you have tried it, then fine if you don't dig it. But to anybody who hasn't had it before, if you dislike liver, chances are you won't care for it, but if you do like liver, you don't know what you're missing.
*The one exception is if you already know what the ingredients are and don't like such ingredients. For me there's only one food that I refuse to eat that I never tried before, that's yogurt. Sorry, I just can't eat something made of bacteria from spoiled milk, yuck! Then they go and cover up what the bacteria is by calling the bacteria "yogurt cultures"! Give me a break, it's still bacteria!... Yet all my kids and grandkids eat it - and they love it. But I can't get myself to even try it. I'm told it has a tart taste to it, well I don't care for things that have a tart taste to them, especially if they are made of bacteria. But other than that, I have tasted pretty much all the other foods around the U.S. and most food I do like. But I have no desire to ever even try yogurt. I just can't. But damn, does liverwurst taste great, Ronnie!
