Maybe calling it 2 boards isn't totally accurate, but that's what we will have in a way, and I feel it's needed. But where there will be 2 boards - that will be used for posting only... what you will see and read will all still be in one single board. It's either do that, or have a monitored board for everybody, and why do that when 99% of our posters don't need to be monitored? Plus the added work for me if 100% of the posters are monitored, would mean that I would have to approve every single post before they show up online, and that would be a total nightmare of extra work for me. That, and I'll guess that most people want to see their posts as soon as they post them, and not wait several hours later to actually see them. So having a moniterated board, mainly for new users only, will 100% stop flamers and spammers.
As it is, I have not allowed any new posters to post here in about 2 months, and won't until the new board is ready to go. The problem is, that a couple of the same old flamers from years ago, just keep returning as "new" posters, looking for a new password to use to get around the ban placed on them, so they can spam the board again. Witn this new setup, that won't ever happen again, and I won't even need a banning system anymore. Now if that new board would just be finished so we can start using it!
