Your mention of age and average "time" you have depending on where you live reminds me of something that I want to mention: I think sometimes we focus too much on the "hard lifestyle" we think these guys have lived and our expectations of longevity and forget just how much wealth and privilege they have had access to for most of their lives. (and they had this even in the realm of drugs, what with all their access to clean, pharmaceutical grade products). That wealth and privilege no doubt extends into their modern-day health just as it certainly affected their lyrics and musical expression back in the day, which is something I wanted to mention in the other thread about "common themes in Stones music" below....anyway, I'll cut myself short on that but suffice it to say we probably have very little idea exactly what state Keith and the others are in and how long they have left.
