Yes, anybody who doesn't use the newest version of Chrome won't see this. But, the number of people who do use Chrome keeps going up with almost every single new monthly report that cones in, and they see way more than just a 50% share, today it's at 73.7%! So in other words, more than 7 out of 10 users on the net use the Chrome browser. But no, not all Chrome users have the newest version of it, you don't Fatmo, even if you think you do, because you would see this notice right now if you had it (unless you have a rare problem with you browser that you are unaware of). Your location has nothing to do with it, nor does it matter who your ISP is.
If you got the newest version (56), you will see the message. To find out what version you do have, just go to the top of your browser on the left side, on the top you will see the "x" (where you can click on and close the browser). Just below that you will see those 3 dots in a row, click on that and you will see a bunch of options in the menu bar that pops up. Go to "Help", place your mouse on it and you will see "about Google Crime", click on that and it will tell you what version you have and if it's the up to date current one (56).
Thanks to your asking this question, I just checked my status, and I now see where I (and everybody) can file a complaint to them about this. So I ask all of you reading this, posters and lurkers, to please take a minute of your time and file a complaint about this, just click on those same 3 dots that I just noted, but this time when you go to 'Help', choose "Report an issue" instead. You will get a popup box that you can file your complain to. Something simple like this will work, so feel free to copy and paste this and sent it in to them: "Please remove your useless, unfair warning from this site: http://www.keno.org/gasland/post.asp, as the password asked for there should be excluded from this new security rule and warning you have in place. The password used there is for the protection of the message board only and can't ever harm the user even if the site isn't using the "https" protocol. All you are doing is harming our old message board with this unneeded notice." Thanks!
The more complaints they get, the better chance they will look into this!
BTW, if you would like, you can view current stats for the top browsers here: Browser info... I'll note that, after llooking it over, that holy shit has IE totally died in the last few years! Nobody uses it anymore! Back around '02 they were the top browser with a 87% share (you will see this), but today they are at only 4.8% and falling in each new report. Safari will over take them soon, that's how low they are today.
