You could be correct, perhaps when people heard the story as it being "your blues", what they might had been actually told was "you're blues", since they sound the same, and some got the 2 words mixed up. But then again, what would "You are blues" really mean? Plus maybe the quote from Paul was misheard too, he might have said "yeah blues" instead of "year blues", since both of these words are pronounced the same, at least here in the states they are. By "yeah blues" John could have been saying, yeah, I wrote a blues song for once. But with John gone, we will never know the true answer to this.
