Well, they are in their 70s, so if they did lose the ability to write songs, even a bit, that could be expected at this point. But no, I don't believe that, Keith just released a new solo LP not too long ago, wish he hadn't and saved the songs for the Stones like he used to do, as their solo released songs are wasted on their fans deaf ears.

So they put together a blues cover album, and a blues album was what at lease some of us fans asked for - for years we've been asking for such an LP, and we finally are getting it, and I think that's great. How many 100% blues albums has this band, that started up as a blues band, released? How many rock albums have they released? I rather see a blues cover album than a regular rock album by them released at this time, they can come up with a another rock album next time around. I, and I know others, are looking forward to the released of this new Blues LP!
