New rolling stones fan here

Hello all. Been really getting into the rolling stones lately and I was persuaded to come here and give my opinions.

Honestly I wasn't a big fan of them up until Christmas last year. It's not that I didn't like them. I still loved satisfaction, beast of burden a bunch of their songs, but I hadn't really listened to everything. I'm a huge beatles fan and always had this "The beatles are so much better than the stones" kind of vibe going on.

My roomate and I have been collecting a lot of vinyl, of course I have most of the beatles albums, along with pink floyd, david bowie, some nirvana for good measure. Then I got some girls, mostly because of beast of burden. Though I also like miss you. Later my roomate bought sticky fingers, mostly because she just wanted to have the cover. We also love the song wild horses, and I also knew brown sugar and can't you hear me knocking. The later is a really cool song. I like the latin section. Needless to say I think the album kicks ass.

I also liked let it bleed, you can't always get what you want might be my new favorite stones song also monkey man. So good!

I looked up what the best rolling stones album is and everyone seems to say exile on main street. Though I see it is not ranked as high here. I listened to it, not on vinyl, and honestly, I wasn't that impressed. But maybe that will change once I listen to the record and get some inspiration (if you know what I mean).

So being on a stones kick I'm trying to learn more about them. I want to see them when they come around again. I think one of the reasons I never got so into them is because I'm wasn't a huge Mick Jagger fan (please don't hate me). He's a good singer, don't get me wrong, but Keith Richards to me is the coolest member of the band. He's so badass! Charlie's cool too. He's kind of got this unassuming vibe to him.

I don't think I've listened to enough Ron Wood to have an opinon of him. I feel like Keith is better? Same with Brian Jones. I like Mick Taylor the best besides Keith, just because he's playing all those guitar solos on sticky fingers which are damn sexy! What are Ron and Brian's sticky fingers moments?

Well just wanted to say hi... hi!
