First, to make things clear, nobody ever used the word "attack" in that thread, it was never used. What many read into that, was at first it seemed Brian's talent was being questioned and put down as to being only average, but as the thread wore on, it was cleared up to where that wasn't the case. The main part of the debate was if Brian was a virtuoso or not, and I noted several songs as proof that he was. It was a good debate up till that point, then one Gasser decided to start being rude after I asked him to name rock songs better than the ones I listed, to prove his point that Brian wasn't a virtuoso. He could not come up with a single song, and instead insulted my intelligence, and that's when it got out of hand. I will never again debate this person since it ins't the first time he's done something rude like this, but that thread will be the last time he does that to me. I mean, why allow another person to ruin your day like that? Yes, peace is so much better than petty fighting, TM, and I'm sure 99% of the people here agree with you on that, but sadly, not 100%. But let's move on from that thread now and please, no more replies here about it from anybody, anymore, thanks.
It's funny how cold it has gotten east of Colorado, even the south had been cooler during the day than Denver and the state's eastern plains, where it's been in the low 70s (F) for 3 or 4 straight days now! In my neck of the woods, we have had 2 days in a row with record highs in the lower 50s, and as I noted in that thread that got deleted by accident, the mudseason is here a full month early, and that is caused by our snowpack melting a full month early, which of course ins't good for any of our ski areas. I recall when I first moved here 40 plus years ago, I didn't even know what a musdeason was, since I lived in and around NYC where you never have such a thing. But in small western US towns where there's no sidewalks or pavement around, other than maybe the main roads, your walkways and side roads are all dirt. So when a foot or 2 of snow starts to melt real fast, you got mud everywhere! The forecast for Colorado is for more of the same warm weather for the next week, other than an outside chance of snow tomorrow nite. But I've had enough of this warm spell, we don't need our snowpack melting so early, that's where we get all of our drinking water from, too, so the snowpack needs to stay solid for a lot longer than just the middle of February. But heck, March is our snowiest month of the year, with April the second snowiest for most towns, so we should be okay if things would just get back to normal.... Heck, they're suppose to have 2 outside hockey games being played in about 10 days at Coors Field, one day a collage game, then the next day a NFL game, so it would be nice if the cold returns by then. Yet if it snows heavily while the games are being played, I wounder what kind of plans they have in place for that, do they still play in the snow?
I spent my Friday nite home alone, as my grandson had a away game for his high school basketball team (a 2 hour drive from here over one of our mountain passes, or I would have gone, but they ended up wining the game!), and his mom was at work. I was suppose to go on over there and hang out in the bar, but I stuck in this music DVD that DA had just sent me, for just a minute, and next thing I knew I wasn't going out anyway, instead I played and watched the DVD instead. So it was a very pleasant night indeed, thanks DA! Now if only winter would return!
