It seems to really shine during these summer months. This is an album that needs space so you can crank it and let the mix breath. The bass on some tracks is very loud in the mix, the production is airy but not wet sounding, and the styles of these tracks suggest outdoor listening. There is a lot of simplicity to it as the structure of most of the songs are of the simple Stones structures, but there is a ton of craft and finesse within each song, Apart from one or two tracks, the album is very tongue and cheek and would appear to be taking queues from bands like The Police and The Cars. Speaking of this album, how cool was the live version of Dance on the 4 Flicks dvd?
