Several gassers have been posting that us Mick Taylor fans should clam up about the current Stones line up NEEDING MT to play with them. No one ever said they NEED MT to play with them. Clearly, they are the greatest rock and roll band in the world, and have been, without him! I've never seen MT with the Stones live, yet Ive been to almost 20 shows and will continue to see my amazing band without MT for as long as they can play. They are always amazing...that's why I keep going back for more.
I don't want to speak for any other MT fan, but from what I saw of MT playing with the boys, he adds another level of greatness to the show. He IS the best guitarist that was ever in the band. I don't think that is debateable. Again... they don't NEED him, he just makes them a better band and more enjoyable to see. I hope this is not taken the wrong way...I don't mean to start an arguement here. I'm just voicing my opinion because, after all, this is a Stones board and this is what we are here for... to be able to voice our opinions about our favorite band without arguement.
