after I wash it, I don't put it in the dryer, I let it dry by the air, and that's one way to get your T's to last a lot longer.

Yes to that! I don't put any of my clothes in the dryer. And to make the images on your t-shirts last longer, it's a good idea to turn them inside out before you wash them. AND to keep them out of the sun while they dry, if at all possible.

I have a vintage Voodoo Lounge tour t-shirt which I have worn maybe once or twice, if that. So it's pristine. I thought it was lost but I went through all my closets and drawers a couple of years ago throwing out stuff, and it somehow resurfaced.
