Damn, is it Friday already!? It was one of those weeks that just totally flew by! I mean, it feels like only about Wednesday right now to me, I was just too busy!
Yeah, any city ins't natural, but many who live in them love it, so one can even stay in the city and enjoy this time of the year. The weather here has just been crazy, it still hasn't warmed up since the snowstorm we had last week, and the last bit of snow on my deck from it is still sitting there. Only a few of the trees are starting to bloom here, and with that heavy wet snow last week, so many of the trees lost big branches, and as of now I hadn't had the time to collect all of them around the property and cut/clean them all up... but on a positive note, by next fall these broken branches (the big ones anyway) will be ready for use as firewood. Last weekend my 2 grandsons took advantage of the mess from the storm and cleaned up a few of the local's property, and made some extra cash while doing it, and while only charging half of what tree trimmers would have charged for the same work. Plus as a bonus, they brought back the big pieces here for free firewood for next winter's use! So that's what we will be working on tomorrow here at the house, before another spring storm is suppose to hit us on Saturday (oh, and school is out for summer here, today was the last day of classes, time to play the Alice Cooper song I guess). But I'll put on the outside speakers so we'll have some music to listen to while we work, but the chainsaw will drown some of that out I guess.
