I would love for MT to be on the tour. I hate the fact that he's not and that the band is just a corporate entity now.
As far as MT being the greatest of all time, I still say Robert Johnson, EVH, Terry Kath, and Clapton might be better. I do think he complimented Keith better than either Brian or even his friend in weave Ronnie. IMO, MT is better than Keith as a player but not quite up to par as a writer. I'm not trying to turn it into a who's the GOAT or greatest Stone. I think there was such energy, soul, and passion on the '69, '72, and '73 tours. That has been missing since. My brother hates MT, saying he 'noodles' too much. I think that's what made that era wonderful. No, Mick Taylor didn't move much - the Bill of stage right! - but he didn't have to. His fingers did enough.
