The creative process is amazing.
Yeah, at first when I heard that guitar lick, I was thinking, how cool, I recall that in the song, but then I remembered that there is no guitar in the song, so where did I hear that? Then a short time later LIB played, and there was the short lick! My guess is Keith heard it too (he was right there after all) and either remembered it, or at least subconsciously remembered it and used it a year later for the LIB song.
