I just read that Tattered Tongue aka Kurt died from Cystic Fibrosis. I fell in love with him when I 1st started posting here in Gasland. I had two sisters that died of the disease. I felt a kin-ship to him.
About once a year I would check up on him and make sure he was OK It broke my heart reading that he died this afternoon. They are getting so close to finding a cure. The life expectancy is much higher than ever before. They have come a long way since my sisters died in the late 1950's.
One summer he posted this video The Rolling Stones - "Sad Day" (single B-side, 1966)
Said it was a very sad day for him because he lost a few friends to the disease. He questioned why only the good had to die young.
Sorry to be posting such sad news. I loved the young man. We use to be friends on myspace and on youtube. He posted great videos with his dogs whom he loved. My heart hurts for his parents. His sister died a few years ago from the same disease.
Let's all spin a few Rolling Stones tunes in his honor.
