Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time recovering Keno. Maybe you did too much on that day last week when you were feeling better (was that Tuesday?) Surgery is a major shock to your system and you must give yourself time. I know it sucks. But the good news is, you WILL get better!
At least Jan is feeling better. Too bad I don't have a song for you Keno like I did for Jan. Maybe you can share...
I gave the "Now!" cover a 9. It's not perfection, but those covers with photos of the band are the ones I love the best. They look so young on this one! It didn't influence my vote, but I would like to point out that this is a dynamite album!
I made myself read all the "devil" titles even though I kinda knew how I was going to vote. And that's exactly how I ended up voting. Had SFTD not been on the list, I would have gone for either the Robert Johnson or the Charlie Daniels Band song.
I haven't voted yet in the second poll, but I really despise that Stones song. I have to go and listen again to the Elton John song before deciding whether or not I'll vote for him.
The Beatles poll was really tough! The 1966+ band really has very little in common with the 1963-64 Beatlemania era. They evolved so incredibly quickly! I still gave my vote to "She Loves You", which defined them in the early days. Because they were such a universal (and unprecedented) phenomena at the time, and also because without the early Beatles, there would have been no later Beatles.
You know Ronnie, I really hope that "Yesterday" isn't going to get any votes. Not because I don't like the song (I do like it), but it's not even a Beatles song. The only Beatle playing on it is Macca. There's no John, no George and no Ringo playing on that song.
