I was thinking most Stones fans knew today why the Glimmers didn't really release the Circus in early '69 as planned. It was clearly because of Brian Jones leaving the band and it had nothing to do with their performance. They had planned to re-shoot the Circus with MT, at the Roman Colosseum, but never got around to it, or maybe they just couldn't get permission to do it there. But BJ leaving the group was why it didn't come out in '69, they didn't want to promote the "old" band at that point in time when they had a new member joining up. That was also the only reason Brian's guitar tract was removed from HTW. The song was finished in March, '69, but they held up it's released and had MT add his guitar to it, and then they released the track.
